Christopher F. Bruton

	Christopher F. Bruton is Director of Dataconsult Ltd., based in Bangkok, responsible for activities in Thailand and Indochina. He holds an honors degree in Economics Law and Accounting and Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Administration from the London School of Economics, University of London, plus postgraduate qualifications in French, Thai and Malay from the Universities of Paris

and Malaya. He is also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the professional body for human resource management in the UK.

Mr. Bruton has extensive management experience in publishing, finance, real estate development and mining, together with market research and market entry strategy development for major multinational companies acquired during 33 years working throughout the ASEAN region, with specialization on Thailand and Indochina.

He also serves as the associate for the Economist Corporate Network in Thailand and the Mekong Region, organizing senior government level conferences on investment and trade, privatization, healthcare, infrastructure and other sectors of development, as well as peer group forums and business seminars.

He provides counsel to senior business and government leaders and publishes the monthly periodicals Thailand Corporate Alert, Business Indochina and Thailand Corporate Finance Alert. His policy and investment recommendations have been instrumental to the market entry strategies of major multinational companies in ASEAN, as well as Bangladesh, Malaysia and Singapore.

Market entry consulting and research has included tourism, finance and insurance, construction and building materials, automotive industry, healthcare, electronics, consumer products, food and beverages, as well as economic and social surveys and political risk assessments.
